Mod cons.....

This is the 'appliance' upon which our little cook-Lollipop-produced the most delicious meal when we went on a 'Lazy Day' river cruise along the mangrove creeks near Banjul.
Can you imagine what the British 'Elf 'n Safety' would have made of it! I have to say I was slightly concerned on a wooden boat to see this in the 'galley' especially as the base plate was broken! What you can see in the picture is about the full size of the cooking area too, with just a very large washing up bowl (sink) and fresh water canister slightly out of shot!
