Blipped!
Across to Fife on the train, to see the Pars play Brechin. I had a feeling that the first time I'd been to a match at East End park I'd seen DA v Brechin - on mining through the records it was probably on Oct 30th 1993, when we won 4-0; so I was quietly hopeful.
There was a bit of a reunion going on so we'd contributed funds for hospitality and a box - the club being in straightened circumstances the former is down to soup and a roll, but the box was much appreciated since we were inside in the warm with an excellent view of the pitch as opposed to having our extremities frozen off in the North West stand. It was nice to meet up with some old pals who we hadn't seen for ages.
Just before the match I noticed the cheery face of erstwhile blipper Craig Brown peeking up over the dugout and mouthed "Blip!" at him just before taking this. He had a busy day photographing the goal-mouth action; it finished 3-1.
