Christingle

Miss B came home tonight with a Christingle she'd made in R.E.
I was impressed that she remembered all the different aspects that she'd been taught...

The candle represents Jesus the light of the world
The red ribbon represents the blood Jesus shed and his love for us
The raisins represent the fruits of the spirit
The cocktail sticks represent the four seasons
and the orange represents the world.

And not one child had their eye pocked out!
