An agricultral aria!

Weather was dull as ditchwater today but the walk was saved by the Lamberts Castle herd all grazing together. This little calf decided he would take Jinxy on but chickened out when Jinzy wondered past him without taking any notice. The other calf hid away in a clump of trees and the adults took no notice at all.

It is very noticeable that all the cattle were sporting their thick winter coats. Do they know something we don't ?

Mrs M (now recovered from her pneumonia) and I are home alone today so its roast beef and trimmings followed by apple tart and cream. Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday
