Golden Oaks

No frost this morning, just a flat, grey sky. Some of the most colourful trees on the golf course just now are the oaks; not ancient Scottish oaks but fairly recent interlopers. One strong gale and I suspect they'll be stripped bare though.
Sitting in amazement just now watching Ireland playing out of their skins and winning against the All Blacks. Whether they can keep the intensity going or not is another matter but I sure hope so!

Oh well, so close ....
