Slowly getting there...

The track has been relaid at Port Appin. Everything else in the pic is just placed to give a perspective. I can't believe how difficult it's been to get the trucks to run smoothly as the fine ballast used to give a working surface has got into everything.

This area will just be a place where a couple of fish vans will be left to take weekly catches and maybe an open truck and cattle truck for occasional loads to the islands. There'll also be the sort of clutter associated with 'open plan' harbour areas. At the far end there'll be a garage and an out station for the local bus company and maybe a ships chandlers or fishing co-operative office and fresh fish outlet (like Tarbert, Argyll).
