Spiky seed head

Went to a very quiet Body Pump class and then did my usual litter pick in one of the nearby roads. Always depressing to see the stuff dumped by the side of the road. Lots of takeaway rubbish, cigarette packets and cans today but no full bottles of spirits this time.

Filled up the bird feeder and pulled more leaves out of the pond. It was great to see two robins, a goldfinch, a chaffinch, a blue tit and a great tit visit the feeder for sunflower seeds only minutes after I'd filled it up.

Husband made some bread rolls for lunch but the oven is misbehaving again. Not sure if we'll have to replace it soon.

Hoping for a quiet afternoon with some knitting, blipping and Grand Prix watching.
