I hung around in the garden with my camera today trying to take a picture of a heron that has decided in the last couple of days that our pond is a great source of food.

Pretty spectacular bird, but no sign of any fish so it may have eaten them all.

Grrr.

So here is Jess instead. The blue thing on her collar is the holder for a tiny GPS which I am using to see how far she runs - today's 'results are here the second trail being a dog agility session.

Jess reached speeds of 25 kph when chasing birds over the field this morning but a mere 6 kph when she had to work with me huffing and puffing after her!

No wonder she sleeps when she is at home..... However, I think she needs to be a bit more alert to herons....
