Barton on Sea

Dropped Ellie of at her friend Emilys digs at Winchester Uni and then went off to Burton on Sea for the weekend, Munchy and Ginger in tow. Steve had found a brilliant B and B overlooking the sea that accepted dogs. After we booked it we saw on the website they had won their episode of the channel 4 programme 4 in a bed. I couldn't help myself, I watched their episode before I went!!
When we arrived we were stunned by the lovely cliffs and sunset. There was an area of common land opposite the B and B - great for late night dog walks. I spotted a chap taking a photo of the sunset and couldn't help but wonder if he was a blipper.
So the dogs enjoyed a walk and I took my first photos with my Canon for a while. I had forgotten what a nice sound it made.
I often wonder how people get birds in their sunset photos as there are never that many around. Then I happened to see one , so waited patiently and snapped when birds in the frame. Shame they didn't come a bit closer! SOme shots I was so excited to have three birds in the frame the camera was at 25 degrees to the horizontal!
So this is a sunset , looking over to Bournemouth with the Isle of Purbeck in the foreground.
