Dessert Makes it Better

Since yesterday lunchtime I've gone downhill with a bad cold and sore throat, I slept 12 hrs last night ( very rarely happens ) in mum and dads bed (this happens a lot) and woke up a few times for reassuring cuddles and some medicine. We had a morning at home then went to get some shopping, dad was building a computer for papa so we picked up the last part and dad fitted it while I slept in the car and mum played scrabble on her phone then we delivered it. Auntie Anne invited us for dinner to celebrate our flat being rented out but dad is feeling poorly as well so he stayed at home and mum and I went for dinner. I didn't eat much of my roast but I did eat a roll and Jam and then some ice cream to sooth my throat, mum said she's being soft but I am poorly.
