Venus

This rather blurry over exposed shot is of Venus, it should actually show a phase like the moon :-/
It's only the second time I've spotted Venus this year, the other being earlier this month.
It is very low in the ssw sky. It's been a typical Sunday, no particular intention of doing anything much, didn't set myself any goals.
Ended up always finding something that "needed doing"
Up early to hopefully catch the moon or perchance the comet, but no show again, too cloudy
It cleared up for the daylight time, and was glorious, short walk to nowhere again.
A bit duller this afternoon, not that I noticed too much.
Until around sunset time, was hoping to catch the sunset, but it was a bit too cloudy. It was a pleasant surprise to see Venus "oor evil twin" though.
Jupiter was equally glorious early on but a mixture of haze and "doon stairs" peat smoke making seeing poor and not too comfortable from the naughty step.
Not a bad day, all told.
Eye clinic again tomorrow, still not much improvement with my eye, so I'm dreading it.
