Rusty-margined Guan

Getting into gear for a trip to the country took all morning and most of the afternoon. Result - monstrous Friday traffic jams, so it took 2 1/2 hours to get past first base. Then ran into very heavy rain for much of the way, also saw the remnants of a very strange accident, where the tank part of a tanker truck had parted company with its bed. Cabin seemed intact, so hopefully no one was killed or injured.
All's well that ends well. Finally reached our very beautiful destination (home to the Guan and a multitude of other species), with a warm welcome and a good meal our hosts had kept hot for us. All set for a great weekend.
