keith's birthday was last week as you might remember, and his best friend wright took him to the hat store today to buy him a new hat as a birthday present. the weather here has been abysmal, almost freezing and raining most of the weekend, but it was a nice jaunt out and keith has a new hat.

okay, i know i owe you news but i just don't have time to write it all out now. the short version is that i was offered a full-time job starting in january, which i accepted. i only have one grad school class to complete, which i will do at the same time. the job is with the organization i rode across the country with a few years ago - texas 4000 for cancer - managing two major events and some other related program stuff for them. i am very excited about it, and very excited that it means we will be staying in austin. more to come soon!
