Back in the good old days...

If you wanted to take a good picture way back when - you needed a quality light meter. Set the dials accordingly, and then take one picture at the suggested meter reading, and then two more, one stop under, and one stop over. I theory, you should end up with a great image :) Thank goodness for digital!
