From Ynys Las to Ynys Hir

Ynys Las is a fabulous dune system at the mouth of the Dovey estuary. Still growing millimetre by millimetre and providing a refuge for many rare plants and animals. Not only is the reserve itself rather lovely but the backdrop on a day like yesterday is magnificent with views down the Dovey as far as Ynys Hir home to Springwatch for the last 3 years. And above the Dovey the hills and mountains of Mid Wales can be equally as dramatic.
