Weir on The Kelvin at The Botanic Gardens

Back home in Glasgow for one day so I thought I'd make the most of it with a wee lunchtime flying visit to the West End.

I had this type of shot in mind before I left the house so I sort of knew exactly where to go to get it. I used an 8 second shutter speed to get the blurry smooth look to the river and wedged my phone between two fences to keep it steady! Luckily it didn't fall....

The bridge in the background carries Queen Margaret Drive high above the river, the old BBC Scotland HQ is up to the left.

Took quite a few nice pics down by the river but thought I'd Blip this one today.
