The Dog And The Lighthouse

What's the best way to wear the dog out so she doesn't jump up at people in suits? Take her to the beach and throw a ball for her until she slows down a bit. It was a lovely fresh day for being on the beach and St Mary's lighthouse made for a good backdrop with the breakers crashing in.
