A strange waiting about day, grey and cold.
The water pump broke down and we were all day waiting for the pump man. And Zani was at the vets and we were all day waiting to know that she had got through the general anaesthetic and to get the results of the x-rays.

Good news - its not her hips. Bad news - its the ligaments in her knees. We're trying six weeks of complete rest and anti-inflammatories and if that doesnt do it then it's surgery.

And the water pump has burned out and needs an expensive new part.
