Waders

Redshank and a common sandpiper.

I'm still learning the basics of identifying coastal birds but I know a redshank when I see the red/orange legs. And today I photographed my first common sandpiper. The sandpiper is much smaller compared to the redshank.

Difficult choice for a Blip today. I got another nice photo of a little egret (but I blipped one of those last week), an arty shot of lots of new rope securing wooden pontoons in the creek and a lovely sunset with Kentish weatherboarded houses and a collection of traffic cones.
