Choir and Band

I didn't think I wanted to use this picture because it is rather dark but when I thought about what this represents I felt I should. Pictures don't have to be perfect to make a statement. I had to take this one so fast because one does not want to be standing up when one should be sitting and getting ready to play.

At any rate the reason for this picture is that it represents combining a group of outstanding high school students with a bunch of mostly retired people and singing and playing timeless music for all generations. After the choir sang, their high school wind ensemble joined the band for the Christmas finale of "Sleigh Ride" Everyone just had fun. Wish I could have had a picture of that.
