THE VIEW FROM MID-ON . . . . . .

is a bit depressing since it is November and several years ago the local Vandal Tribe set fire to the homely Cricket Pavilion destroying club records, gear and many nostalgic photographs but not the members' spirit. Now the Pavilion is replaced by ugly but functional Container units (still the target of vandalism) and local cricketers maintain the privilege granted to his servants by the the local Laird who gave them the right to form a cricket team.That was over 150 years ago and it is remarkable that the cricketers are still supported by the current owners of the House , now a flourishing hotel. Training takes place on Tuesday nights, and we encourage anyone to come along and take part.  We aim to tailor our training practices to suit the needs of the participants, and have a number of expierenced coaches available to provide one-to-one coaching where necessary.
