Fashion disaster?

One of my colleagues arrived at work today wearing this psychedelic combo. I didn't want to mention the 'dress code' that's someone else's area but I did challenge him on his choice. He replied 'Oh, I've put on the wrong shoes, must've been half asleep' that was it! Worryingly he thought the socks were fine.

He was also wearing an orange shirt. They do say that men are more prone to colour blindness.
