'I'M WISHING ON A STAR,I'M WONDERING WHERE YOU ARE
The day has been manic!! I had so much to achieve today, and my feet dont feel as though they have touched the ground.
Caught up with washing etc. this morning, having taken an extra day off as I had to attend a meeting at 1.30 at Longrun House regarding Adrian. He had not had a review from Hampshire Social Services since 2006 and because I hadn't raised any queries, they hadn't bothered.
The meeting went well and once we had established that his funding at the moment is secure, then went off to collect the cats from the cattery.
Once they were safely returned to their various 'nesting' sites, I then took Phoebe for a run round the village. Got back at 17.10, grabbed 3 Rivita crackers for lunch!! Then set off to Maunsell House, North Newton , the home of Sir Benjamin Slade, who very kindly gives his entire house over to Macmillan Cancer support for their Christmas Bazaar. We have been invited once again this year to the preview before the general public arrives tomorrow. And of course spent too much money buying bits and pieces.
By the time we got home it was just before 22.00 and we still hadn't eaten.
So once again, the diet went out of the window, pizza and baked beans. But when you're hungry!!!!
So this is a capture taken when on the walk with Phoebe at about 16.30. I know I have taken blips from this area before, but I like the way the sun goes down and leaves these amazing cloud colours and shows off the Stogumber Beacon. I haven't done anything to this blip, apart from cropping the shot to illiminate some of the foreground.
Hope you have all come through Monday unscathed and look forward to sharing another day with you all tomorrow. Sleep well, keep warm, be restored while sleeping and rejoice in another dawn tomorrow. Life is a free gift, dont waste it!!
Love always x
