Hornworm, Part 3

Who remembers the Tobacco Hornworm from a couple weeks ago? Here it is again, in another stage of development. It is still alive, since it moves when I touch it, but it stopped eating some time ago. In this view it is on its back, reminding me of an otter. I expected the chrysalis to be hard and shiny, but maybe it just hasn't happened yet. It is clearly going through immense change. Stay tuned.
