The proof of the pudding

I decided to post a photo of my wee man after yesterday's scare.

He's tired but is eating well and drinking well. He's too thin at the moment, only 31.8kg instead of his usual 35kg, but he's got lots of energy when it's needed.

I think he's as happy as a dog can be.

I am hoping that the blood tests on Monday will show that he is fine and that the rat poison hasn't had any ill effects.

I'm tired, absolutely pooped. I have a busy weekend ahead. I hope I can last the distance.

We enjoyed our walk on the beach though. Tears, laughter and prayers. The usual combination.
