The library of the monks

Today, I visited a concert together with my parents. It was held at the library of an old monastery in Wittem. While I listed to these beautiful songs in Limburgian dialect (even one on NYC!) by Paul van Loo and Ivo Rosbeek, I couldn't help but wonder how many bibles have been hand copied by monks in this very room centuries ago.
