Snug as a bug

Mr M was weary this evening and stretched out on the couch. Rascal took full advantage and joined him there. I tell these cats all the time that when my time is up, I'm coming back to earth as a cat!

Very cold and windy today. Best news: nephew is back on American soil, home from Afghanistan. Arrived today. So thankful that stretch is over!

Riley had a checkup today for his eye. Vet says the eyelid is laying exactly as it should. Said sometimes after a few weeks they have to do an "adjustment" after the swelling subsides, but not necessary in this case. The moist inner part of the lid is what is laying against the eye and that is just what they wanted. So clean bill of health for Riley! Some interior sutures that will dissolve in a month or so, otherwise free to be a happy dog.
