My Day

The photograph shows the weather today, dull cloudy and wet. Not a day for photographic experiments in the sunset, nor extended walks in the open with a camera getting very wet. So I was a wimp today and only ventured as far as the supermarket, and severely limited my exposure to the elements.

It wasn't cold, just wet. In the supermarket Christmas had arrived. A large number of Christmas trees for sale, real ones that is. I would have thought it is too early to bring a tree into the warmth, and they might start shedding needles before Christmas is fully upon us, never mind 12th night.

Christmas was arriving in the bakery aisles also, and I bought a panettone and a panforte. Something to nibble on in the cold winter evenings.
