Keswick and Derwentwater

How the hell do I follow a picture like yesterday's? I am absolutely astounded that I got a second spotlight in two days but also the top row in spotlight and faves. I was even ahead of John Gravett and Draco for heavens sake!! Thanks everyone.

Anyway it's down to earth today with dull but interesting skies and this classic view of Keswick from the top of Lattrig was quite stunning.

David (Rockarea) and I were looking at an old B&W photo taken from this spot in the Skiddaw hotel last night. There was a large building in the foreground which we couldnt identify but it's still there, just behind the station, and is the Keswick Country House Hotel.
