Pamplona to Obanos

We left the hustle and bustle of the city behind and headed out into the countryside again.

The scallop shell symbol and yellow arrows are everywhere - i don't think we'll get too lost along the way.

Most towns have a version of either shell or arrow to guide you through the streets. Today's blip shows a nice brass one embedded in the pavement as we headed into Obanos.

We decided on a small hostel in a quiet village, Obanos, today. Good choice, we met two lovely fellow travellers, Roland from Germany and Heidi from Denmark. We had dinner with them in the evening - a 3 course "pilgrim's menu" at the local bar - €9 including wine.
