Twisty dead thing...

... the garden's full of them. Early blip as it's likely to be a busy day. #2 daughter heads off to uni tomorrow to start life as a fresher, and despite my entreaties over the past two weeks has not done anything to prepare for the move, save for socialising even harder with the friends she'll be leaving behind (until they go to visit her next week to sample the joys of Leeds nightlife). So far she has a railcard and a saucepan. I had resolved to leave her to sort things out - at 19 you'd think that was possible - but it looks like I'll have to give in and do it all as usual..... sigh.
