Bloomin' Broom!

Ah, the much-maligned Scotch Broom. Yes, it is invasive. Yes, it is invincible. But it also fixes nitrogen like a champion, stabilizes slopes, and produces beautiful yellow blooms--even in late November! I also heard that its pollen acts as a sedative, and that when it is blooming in full force along the highways in Seattle, road rage measurably and significantly decreases!
