experimenting
Tagine was always going to be on the menu for tonight, but it was such a grey, cold, wet day that the colour of the food (and the tagine itself) along with its warmth were very welcome.
It's all vegetable, and very easy. Onion, garlic, celery, carrot, fennel (great smell), tomato - then chopped parley & coriander at the end. Ras el hanout goes in too - it's the only exotic ingredient, but Tesco stocks it.
For me the added bonus is that all the main veggies are organic.
A bit of couscous to mop up the sauce, and off you go. 25 minutes plus preparation time.
The tagine was a birthday present and this was only my 2nd attempt - so having fun.
