A long day today, it seems.
I exploded volcanoes in the afternoon with year 4 (shall submit blip on this tomorrow when I do it with the other class - have to be so careful about photography around children these days).
The staff meeting was reasonably productive - the Head said in front of all staff that she will be seeing the parent concerned about HH and informing him that the school consider it acceptable safe teaching material for use. YAY, SUPPORT!!
She will report back to me on what I will need to do with the child involved.

I felt the need for a glass of wine and a smidge of choc. It did go down well!
