White Berries

LeeAnn's Colour Challenge - Day 26 - White

When I saw the colour for today, I immediately thought of this shrub with white berries, but wasn't sure if I would find it. Fortunately, there was a large example in the flower beds in front of the sports centre on the way into town.

I believe the plant is a Snowberry, or Symphoricarpos, and while the berries provide food for birds, they are can cause irritation and should be considered poisonous to humans.
