ELUSIVE BEAUTY

This unusual white cardinal was so elusive today – she didn’t stay in one place more than three seconds, and was within view less than a minute. She didn’t stop at either of my feeders and was constantly chased by a male cardinal. At rest, some of her feathers look quite pink, but in flight she seemed to be a white bird with the slightest pinkish tint. I’ve never seen her before, but she was absolutely beautiful flying through the trees. Even though this isn’t a great photo, I had to post it today to show you this beautiful bird. I hope you can see her well enough through the branches.
