Early morning thunder

Woke up to a loud crack of thunder and pouring rain. What a beautiful sky! I was glad I had my camera handy.
When I was little I would run out into the yard whenever there was a thunder storm. My Grandpa , always chewing on a toothpick, would say: "Oh, that's God dumping a wheel barrel full of Apples." then laugh and slap his knee.
I thought, now why would God be pushing a wheel barrel??
