Our neighbours

Had to run to get the camera to snap the cows crossing the road. Usually at this time of year they are kept in the barn but because there's plenty of grass and it's dry enough for them to not mess it up they've been out for the last 3 days. They love it of course and were properly scampering on Monday. This cow is unfortunately lame and so slow to move, enabling me to capture it. The others had already crossed by the time the camera was in place.

I had fun playing with the image and thought that the look of the 'milkmaid' demanded a different approach!
