Camino de Santiago Day 32

Lizzie's first day walking! Sarah and i were curious to see what she would think of this whole experience. Mind you Lizzie is a young, fit Scotswoman, 21 years my junior so she should be OK!

We took it steadily and bar-hopped quite a lot - our bellies sloshing with coffee and fizzy water. As the days go by we seem to be getting more and more sociable during our walking. Even if we walk alone we see a lot of the same people gathered at the coffee stops and sit and chat. We are slowly gathering our "Camino Family".

The destination today is Villafranca del Bierzo a picturesque town and our last stop before a few hilly days.
