Wood rising

Nipped out at lunchtime to run a couple of errands and took a little time to have a wander through a small park near my workplace.

Couldn't help but think that this looked like some kind of beastie rising up out of the earth.

Going back to the events of yesterday evening, I have just read the following words from the Norfolk People's Assembly Press Officer:

"Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Waters, reached a hand out across the chamber - in an instant, isolating the two or three vociferous numpties who call themselves Labour councillors and had little to offer but vacuous insults - and suggested the council, the people's assembly and other campaigners form a "popular front" against the bedroom tax.
