Sticking With Orange

This is the lovely Western Australian Christmas Tree (Nuytsia floribunda) with its beautiful bright orange blooms.

I wasn't able to get close to the tree as it was in a fenced off area. Someone told me there was an entry around the other side but it was on a main road with no parking and a long way to walk! It was also a very hot afternoon, I forgot to bring some water, I walked through a big spider web eeeeek - luckily the spider wasn't in residence - and the flies were driving me crazy so it was definitely a no go!! :o)

This is just a small protected section of natural bush in suburbia with lots of Banksia, eucalypts and other lovely things so I'll definitely come back some time and have a poke around.
