Menorah

The Menorah reminds me of Jewish friends who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) this weekend.

This seven branched candlestick or lampstand has been a symbol of the Jewish people for over 3,000 years. It was used in the ancient Holy Temple in Jerusalem. You can read about its construction in Exodus 25 : 31-40.
