Memories!

We are now well in to the season for wreaths - passing my local florist, quite late this afternoon, I spotted this fine example sharing table space with a rather glitzy, gaudy purple wreath and a number of traditional holly ones.
My mother always bought a holly wreath at Christmas time to place in the cemetery where her parents and sister are buried. The trip to the churchyard of the Auld Kirk in Alloway was always a chance to visit the Tam O'Shanter experience for a spot of lunch and Christmas shopping.
