I've Found Jesus!

After noticing the absence of a Baby Jesus in the Christmas display yesterday it was good to see, among all the funfair, stalls of food and drink and advertisements for up-coming shows in St Andrew's Square, the traditional Nativity scene.

Sculpted by Tim Chalk and gifted to the city by Sir Tom and Lady Farmer in November 2003, we have seen it before and I still like the natural pose of the baby, I can almost feel that little body against my shoulder.

The Nativity is placed in a prominent position so I hope the merry-makers pause to reflect as they browse the attractions in the square.
