focal point

After a morning of cleaning, ironing and other domestic chores I began reading a photo book my husband brought from the library. It's called Complete Photography Projects,  After skimming the usual section on exposure, composition etc I began on the first project. Photograph a scene with a focal point.

An afternoon walk up through Stock Ghyll woods and onto a footpath traversing Wansfell. I found my focal point and blipped it. 

A mix of activity in the air today. An air sea rescue helicopter and several low flying jets. There were 2 jays beyond the woods (haven't seen any for ages) and the coal tits and yellow hammers are back feeding in the garden.
