Awful picture of a spectacularly wonderful night. I expected Texas to be pretty good, but I wasn't prepared to be blown away by their total awesome-ness!!
Lead singer Sharleen Spiteri has the most incredible voice, energy and kick-ass attitude. We are the same age and she made me feel young again.
I became a fan upon first hearing Texas' early slide guitar-enriched sound scythe a fresh new groove through the late 80s hollow synth-pop musical landscape.
Judging by the greying and balding heads in the crowd, we were not alone in the longevity of our appreciation.
