Dawn run

I've been rubbish with the blips this week, even though I spent a day in the woods on Monday with a gorgeous set of 10 year olds recording material for my 'Stig of the Dump' programme, and on Tuesday was in London at Broadcasting House. For some reason my camera was entirely neglected.

But this morning I went for a run with the dogs around Tunstall as the sun came up. I thought about living in London, how much better it would be for my work rather than living here in the northern pennines, but how much poorer I would be in every conceivable way. Where near London can you run in landscape like this, right on your doorstep?
