Carpenter Bee on Golden Rod

hello everyone.

i have taken a break from photographing. wanting to do something different with my camera, but haven't figured it out yet. i have taken every flower around here from every angle and close up too. not many bugs to photograph.

lots going on. my husband's job has expanded and he has some fun projects for me to do. gypsy girl is hitching across eastern europe staying with couchsurfers. she started in istanbul and has gotten to zagreb so far. son and turkish daughter will be going to stuttgart and paris next month. we are going south to north and south carolina and georgia last of october.
