My Lollipop!

Mr J took us to Nandos for lunch today to escape the soggy house.

P had an ice lolly for her pudding but after a demonstration of how to squeeze the bottom to make the lollipop rise out the top, we wish we had chosen the yoghurt instead.

P squeezed and out popped the ice lolly, it slid over the table and landed on the floor. P was shocked at first and seemed to find it quite funny. But then out came the bottom lip as she realised the gravity of the situation. Then we had full on tears and wails of "My Lollipop!"

I couldn't help but laugh whilst trying to console her. Really I'm not a meany but it was very funny. I must remember Lollipops are very important to 2 year olds...
