Striding out

...in my new(ish) shoes (or boots?) today and they have been remarkably comfortable for a day spent in three different classrooms, two different meeting rooms, my office (briefly) and all parts in between. I started early getting some marking done that I couldn't face last night but finished earlier than most as it is Y9 parents' evening and they are one of two year groups that I don't teach. An early night is on the cards to try and beat this weary feeling.
